Privacy policy

1. Who we are
Oria is a service operated by EXECUTABLE. This policy describes the data we process when you use Oria on the web or on mobile, and the rights you have.
It applies the same way to both uses of the service: the student profile (understanding a lesson, studying, preparing for the Brevet or the BAC) and the professional profile, where Oria acts as a work assistant. The profile you choose at signup changes how Oria answers you, not how your data is handled.
2. Data we collect
- Account: name, email address and profile picture passed on by your sign-in provider (Google or Apple). We never store any password.
- Profile: first name, last name, country, preferred language, and depending on the profile chosen, your grade and track (student) or your industry (professional). School name and city are optional. This information is used to tailor answers to your level or your job.
- Voice sessions: your voice (and your camera or screen image if you turn on sharing) is streamed live during the session to allow the conversation. Transcripts of your conversations are kept in your history.
- Conversations and content: messages, files sent and quiz results, so you can find them again.
- Usage data: session length and volumes used, for running the service and billing.
3. How we use it
Your data is used solely to provide the service: answering your questions, keeping your history, tailoring answers to your profile, managing your subscription and keeping the service secure. We never sell your data.
4. Technical processors and AI models
To operate, Oria relies on providers who process your data on our behalf, only to the extent necessary for the service, and never to train their models. The AI models are named here, because they're the ones who receive the content of your exchanges:
- Google (Gemini): processes voice sessions. Your voice, and your camera or screen image if you choose to share it, are streamed to Google live during the session to allow the conversation.
- Anthropic (Claude): generates written conversation answers.
- OpenAI: fallback model when the main model is unavailable, and side tasks: conversation titles, summaries, memories.
There are also technical providers who don't use the content of your exchanges: hosting of our servers and your files (European Union), backups, audio/video routing for voice sessions, sign-in via Google or Apple, and payment processing when you subscribe. We never see or store your payment credentials. When an answer requires a web search, only the search query is sent to search engines, never your conversation.
Search across educational documents, on the other hand, stays on our own infrastructure.
5. Where your data is processed
Our servers are located in the European Union. The AI providers listed above may process your data outside your country of residence, notably in the European Union and the United States. By using Oria, you accept this processing, which is necessary to provide the service.
6. Retention
Your conversation history is kept for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account (available in the app, Profile section) deletes your personal data and your history.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data at any time. For any request about your data, write to us at contact@exeapps.com.
8. Minors
Oria may be used by minor students in an educational setting. A minor's signup must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Professional use is reserved for adults.
9. Professional use and confidential information
If you use Oria in a professional setting, keep in mind that the content you submit (message, document, voice session) is sent to the AI providers listed in section 4. Don't include information covered by professional privilege, nor personal data about third parties (clients, patients, colleagues), without authorization and without anonymizing it. You remain responsible for the confidentiality obligations specific to your profession.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the update date at the top of the page is authoritative. Significant changes will be flagged in the app.
